No less than seven individuals were killed and more than 48 injured in a terror attack in central London on Saturday, June 3. Three male suspects were shot dead by police, and 12 individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident.
The Associated Press revealed that the assault started on Saturday night when a white van cut down pedestrians on London Bridge. The suspects then left the van and stabbed various individuals, including a British Transport Police officer and individuals at close-by eateries in Borough Market.
The Sun’s Ben Leo tweeted photographs from the scene, stating, “Horrendous scene at London Bridge… bodies strewn over the asphalt. B&Q van mounted the asphalt. I feel wiped out.”
A different incident at Vauxhall was explored by police on Saturday night, however experts affirmed it was not identified with the occurrence at London Bridge and Borough Market.
BBC journalist Holly Jones, who was on the extension at the season of the assault, said the van was driven by a man, and the vehicle was “most likely going at around 50 miles an hour.”
